Do Silent Subliminals Work?

Introduction

Do silent subliminals work? If it’s silent, how can you even know if anything is on the recording? I will show you the answer below and explain in detail how silent subliminals rewire your subconscious mind with positive messaging.

Do silent subliminals work? Yes! Silent subliminals and ones with audible music or nature sounds are equally effective. Research findings confirm that subliminal messages are effective. However, the most effective type of subliminal is visual where text or pictures are rapidly flashed.

What are Silent Subliminal Messages?

Silent subliminal means a subliminal message recorded outside of your ability to perceive consciously and without dubbed music or nature sounds recorded on top.

All subliminal messages are below your visual or audible threshold. They are outside of your ability to perceive consciously. But, your subconscious mind does receive and react to the stimuli.

Silent subliminals are messaging tracks made up of voice recordings that are inaudible to humans. These are usually positive statements that target a problem area for the listener.

They replace negative emotions with positive ones.
In these examples of poor emotional habits and trauma, subliminal messaging might include positive statements. The statements rewire the subconscious mind and replace negative emotions with positive ones.

Examples of problem areas might be:

Emotional eating habits stop you from losing weight.

How Do Silent Subliminal Recordings Work?

They Work by Reprogramming The Subconscious Mind
Subconscious illustration using an iceberg example

The subconscious mind is where everything we have experienced is stored – like a huge database. Your beliefs and self-image are stored here, including limiting beliefs and imaginary boundaries.

There’s a combination of positive and negative stuff that enables you in some ways and limits you in others.

Subliminal messaging bypasses the conscious mind and lets you install more enabling beliefs and disable limiting ones without interference from your conscious mind. The new programming in your subconscious affects your everyday thoughts and actions.

Silent Subliminals Bypass the Conscious Mind

They work by going around your conscious mind directly to your subconscious mind. The messages are positive affirmations that become embedded in your subconscious and replace old negative ideas and habits. The conscious mind may resist change because of past programming and habits. However, your subconscious mind accepts suggestions without question

Your subconscious mind begins to accept the suggestions as true after repeated listening.

Our Subconscious Mind Illustration

An auditory suggestion to the person at a level beyond the conscious mind is goes directly into the subconscious mind.

The subconscious mind accepts commands without question. It’s just like a small child accepting what parents say with complete innocence. (If you’re a parent, you know that changes rapidly as they get older).

Sneak in Good Code

Subliminal recordings are a way to sneak in good code and bypass your conscious mind where thoughts are blocked and filtered. This way you deliver good, favorable commands in an unnoticeable and repetitive way.

What Can Subliminal Technology Do?

Subliminal messages can target any area of self-improvement.

The messages are targeted to implant powerful suggestions (some examples):

  • Increasing success and prosperity
  • Curing addiction
  • Passing exams
  • Being more positive
  • Being more optimistic
  • Being more confident
  • (Fill in the blank) you want

Change habits

Subliminal messages can help you get rid of bad habits and adopt good ones.

Habits are hard to break because they are deeply entrenched, by frequent repetition, into your brain. Habits are also patterns of behavior and breaking the patterns is the key to breaking the habits themselves.

Subliminal messages bypass your conscious to promote establishing new habit patterns with little resistance from the pesky conscious mind. So they change your deep-seated thinking patterns

How Silent Subliminal Messages Are Made

Choose well-thought-out affirmations to help solve specific challenges.

The messaging is sometimes recorded by a hypnotherapist or guided meditation teacher. However, any professional voiceover artist could record the statements.

The audible recording is then modulated, using EQ, to move the audio out of the hearing range of humans. The EQ raises the frequency above the human detection range. This is how subliminal messages can bypass your conscious mind and go directly to your subconscious.

How is Silent Better?

Enjoy Other Things Without Being Disturbed

Silent subliminals may be better because they can’t disturb you. You can have the silent subliminal recordings playing all the time while you do something without being distracted.

You can enjoy a movie or TV programming without competing audio from a subliminal recording of music or the ocean waves pounding on the surf.

What Are Different Ways To Absorb Subliminal Content?

Play Subliminal Tapes During Sleep

Subliminal audio during sleep is popular because it doesn’t impose on your productive waking time. With no effort, you can turn your 6-8 hours of sleep time into a personal growth period.

It’s far easier to take advantage of the 1/3 of your day sleeping to eliminate your most challenging issues and replace bad code with good.

Watch Subliminal Flashes on Your Computer Screen

Subliminal messages can also be transmitted visually. Visual subliminal messages appear as quick flashes on your computer screen.

You can adjust the flash intervals to meet your comfort level and avoid distractions while on your computer.

Play MP3 subliminal messages during daytime

In addition to subliminal flashes, another great way to use subliminal messages during the day is to listen to MP3 subliminal tracks.

Although it’s best to listen to subliminal tapes before or during sleep when the mind is in a receptive mode, you can still benefit from subliminal exposure during the day.

While awake, you function with beta waves, but new information still enters the subconscious non-stop.

What does Science say about Subliminals?

It’s common for people to ask for evidence that subliminal messaging works. There are enough well-documented studies that demonstrate subliminal audios can produce real effects. You can mold bad habits into good ones and enhance performance in many areas. In fact, you can use subliminals to improve every area of your life.

Would you like to be more motivated? Do you need to boost your confidence and self-esteem? Subliminals can help you do this and much more.

For many decades, research on silent subliminal technology was derailed by a US military patent. Here are some select studies conducted on subliminal messaging over the last approximately thirty years.

People responded to subliminal messages at a much higher rate than to supraliminal messages.

Superliminal-vs-Subliminal

Despite people reporting they didn’t detect the stimuli, measurements indicate that the mind is still aware.

This shows that the subconscious mind can be influenced by subliminal stimulation and respond even when the person isn’t consciously aware of it.

Shevrin, H. (1975). Does the averaged evoked response encode subliminal perception? Yes. A reply to Schwartz and Rem. Psychophysiology, 12(4), 395–398. https://doi.org/10.1111/j.1469-8986.1975.tb00009.x

People Can Perceive Audio Subliminal Messages Subconsciously

subliminal reprogramming with headphones

People subconsciously perceived a recorded verbal message that they couldn’t consciously hear.

Researchers told two groups of subjects that they were listening to an audio subliminal message.

One group had a subliminal message mixed with a music recording. A second group of subjects had regular music without the subliminal messages.

Both groups were asked to create a drawing before and immediately after listening to their respective music tracks. Researchers report that subjects who listened to subliminal messages, included images relating to the subliminal suggestions in their drawings.

The subjects who didn’t listen to subliminal messages, didn’t have subliminal suggestions in their drawings.

Kaser concluded that the subconscious mind detects messages that the conscious mind was unaware of.

Other research indicates that subliminal messages in advertising influence purchasing behavior.

One example is where participants in a study (Karremans, Stroebe, & Claus, 2006) were significantly more likely to choose a Lipton ice drink when they were subliminally primed with the words “Lipton ice”.

This article describes two experiments, which considered whether subliminal priming of a brand name for a beverage can affect people’s choices for the primed brand name. It also considered whether this effect is moderated by individuals’ being thirsty. Both studies showed that subliminal priming of the brand name drink positively affected peoples’ choice and their intention to drink the primed brand. However, the effect was present only for participants who were thirsty.

Still more findings demonstrate the effects of subliminal stimuli.

An experiment by Fitzsimons, Chartrand, and Fitzsimons (2008) demonstrated an increase in creative ability induced by a subliminal message.

The study found that people could list significantly more uses for a brick after they were subliminally primed with the Apple logo compared to IBM’s logo.

Subliminal Images Influenced Political Attitudes and Voting Behavior

Voting

Research conducted by Dr. Ran Hassan (Hassin, R. R., et al, 2007) revealed that subliminal messages processed in the subconscious part of the brain reduced the intensity of political attitudes.

The researchers also found that subliminal exposure to the national flag influenced voting intentions and behaviors. Wow!

The voters who were exposed to subliminal images of the national flag voted more moderately.

Flashing subliminal smiling faces caused people to have a more favorable opinion.

Murphy and Zajonc (1993) demonstrated that people who were exposed to subliminal smiling individuals had a more favorable opinion of ambiguous symbols.

This effect was stronger with subliminal exposure than with non-subliminal.

Participants agreed more with a person after researchers subliminally exposed the participants with a picture of the person. Bornstein, Leone, and Galley (1987)

A message about tap water consumption was more persuasive for people who were subliminally primed.

Légal, Chappé, Coiffard, and Villard-Forest (2011) subliminally primed people with the words “to trust” and those subjects found a message about tap water consumption to be significantly more persuasive.

Do Silent Subliminals Work Conclusion

Silent subliminals and ones with audible music or nature sounds are equally effective. They work by reprogramming the subconscious mind. The silent ones are better if you don’t want to be distracted by music or nature sounds. With silent subliminals you can do something entertaining or you can work while still listening.

There is also significant research showing how effective visual subliminal messaging can be. Many people have transformed their lives using subliminal programs as part of their personal growth program.

Give it a try and see if you benefit as much as I have from subliminal programs.
